About Us

Hi everyone!

My name is Lilly Tasker and I am the owner of Lil Floral Cove. I am a Cert lll Qualified florist bringing my own modern approach to the industry and making a name for myself in the Southern Highlands. 

During my year at tafe I was asked to compete in the World Skills Regional Competition in Sydney, where I had to showcase my creativity as a florist. I came home the Regional World Skills Winner! I then represented the Illawarra in Queensland for the National World Skills Competition in June 2025 where I placed 6th in Australia. In this WorldSkills competition I competed 3 days in a row completing 8 different modules all together. I created a Bouquet, a Podium Arrangement, Body Flowers, Wreath, Bridal Design, Hat Flowers, Front Desk piece and a Foyer display. It was such an amazing experience being able to bring my creativity to life through floristry in a big crowd of flower lovers and highly experienced judges. My passion for floristry came at the young age of 14 where I was helping a local florist with weddings and events. Helping out really opened my eyes to the world of floristry and have been in love with the industry ever since!

I then moved away for a change of scenery for an incredible opportunity to work with equally incredible florists. It was here that I got to work in high end corporate events and weddings in the most beautiful locations. I learnt a lot about the wedding and high end corporate side of floristry which I absolutely loved creating so many different floral designs for each and every event. It was here that I gained most of my experience in every day floristry and event work.

Since starting my own business my love and passion for flowers have turned into me growing my own flowers! My Grandparents have dedicated a piece of their land for me to start growing my own garden. I aim to use these home grown flowers in future bouquets. I started off growing my favourite flowers called Dahlias which some of you may have already received in bunches. 

Lil Floral Cove is more than just bunches of flowers, we dedicate time, love and passion into each individual flower to get longer lasting blooms for everyone's home. We are very experienced in making individual flowers come together to create breathtaking arrangements and bouquets for any occasion. Our wrapping and designing techniques are perfectly suited to your bunches to keep your flowers protected and presentable in a way you will be blown away when receiving your blooms.
